Behind Adam’s castle, Belle had planted a small flower garden in the rear courtyard. It was designed in a small circle, with a circle of grass in the center and a single blue and grey stoned walkway that granted access to the grass circle. It was there that Belle sat, a small, sad smile on her face.
Adam slowly walked out with a bouquet of white roses in his hands. The thorns caused him a little pain, but it never really registered. He knew that Belle would be out there this morning visiting the graves, and he thought it was time to put some new roses at his parents’ graves.
